PTA
Our wonderful Romiley Primary School PTA works with the school as an essential part of school life and aims to provide both fun activities and help fund resources for our children. The PTA Committee are a friendly group of parents who volunteer their time and energy to a wide variety of events and activities such as children’s discos, sponsored events, Summer/Christmas Fairs, tuck shop's and non-uniform days, all to raise money for activities, equipment, and experiences which cannot always be provided by the school budget. The PTA’s work has provided valuable resources for the benefit of our children.
The school community is kept up to date of any upcoming events via the weekly newsletter, posters around the school or via school ping. Sometimes parents/carers and guardians may be asked to kindly bring in chocolates or bottles as donations for tombola prizes for certain events.
The PTA members would not be able to run events solely themselves and so, if families can give us just an hour of their time they would have more than enough volunteers for every event that they run.
