A Welcome Message from the Chair:
Friends of Romiley Primary School is your PTA and plays a vital role in raising funds for the school and making a contribution to our childrens education.
You can make a contribution too!
FRPS usually meet on the first Tuesday of the month (at the local pub, to ensure that everything is kept as informal as possible) to discuss fundraising opportunities and organise exciting events which are enjoyed by all. We arrange the Christmas and Summer fairs, the school disco, the mothers’ day stall, harvest festival and an annual Quiz Night. If there are things going on in school, FRPS have usually had some involvement.
The meetings are a friendly forum and everyone is welcome to come along and have your say. Your support is welcomedl to the school and really can make a difference to all the children who attend.
There are many ways in which you can be involved with FRPS other than the meetings: you could man the tombola at the fair, you could help at the disco, you can volunteer as a first-aider for our events. Any skills that you have can be utilised in some way by FRPS, so please feel free to contact us and help make a difference to our children.
You can contact any member of FRPS to offer your help or make suggestions via the ‘Contact us’ link on the right, or email us via firstname.lastname@example.org. We will get back to you as we would love your input and support.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Mike Hardacre and Stu Booy
