The school is committed to providing opportunities for each child to develop socially, morally, intellectually, physically, spiritually and emotionally to the best of their ability.
We aim to provide relevant learning experiences with sequencing, progression and continuity which enable children to meet the demands of the National Curriculum and beyond, where appropriate.
Romiley Primary School strives to demand endeavour and ensure success from every child. We set our sights on every child leaving school each day feeling something positive has happened and ultimately moving on as hungry learners. Every child is expected and encouraged to perform academically to the best of his or her ability.
We aspire that through friendship and loyalty children should value others and their needs. We strive to encourage respect for all others, children and adults, property, the law and the environment. The future well-being of society depends upon fostering a caring and responsible approach to both the community and the environment.
Our purpose is to build each child’s self-esteem, self confidence, self motivation, self discipline, self expression and independence and in so doing foster enthusiasm for new experiences. In a rapidly changing world we wish to develop children’s critical faculties and coping strategies to deal with the unfamiliar.
