World Book Day is almost upon us again! This year it is on Thursday 1st of March (in the first week after the half-term break). As always we will be holding a Book Fair in the Small Hall/Library, but this year is also the 10th anniversary of our own school library! This means that as well as joining in with the WBD 2018 ‘Share A Story’ theme, we will also be celebrating 10 years of our wonderfully well-resourced, spacious, comfortable, custom-designed library!
As part of the celebrations there are several £5 Book Fair vouchers to be won in two different competitions: 4 will be won for the best library bunting-flags created in school (one for each age category: EYFS, KS1, Lower KS2 and upper KS2). The final prize is for the nearest guess to the number of book loans our school library has given over the past 10 years (guesses to be posted into the cake-shaped box in the library!).
So remember: one more week of school + one week of half-term break, then a week of booky-celebrations!
