Book Fair re-arranged and Competition Winners!

The Book Fair has been re-arranged for THIS THURSDAY!!  It will be on after school, 3.15 – 4.15pm, Thursday, Friday and Monday (15th, 16th + 19th March).

World Book Day (dressing up etc.) is being rearranged for later in the month.  However, the World Book Day competition winners have been announced, and the £5 Book Fair vouchers have been awarded ~ very well done to Will Eva in Mrs Lomas’s Reception class, Rihanna Quinque in Miss Clayton’s Year 2 class, Frankie Kan in Mrs Driver’s Year 3 class and Philippa Knight in Miss Ross’ Year 6 class, for their wonderful bunting-flags! The judging was really hard due to the number of incredibly good entries.  Bunting has been made from the flags and is now up, brightening the library, as I type!  Take the chance to look at them this Thursday or Friday when you come to the Book Fair.  (By the way, you can pay for your purchases with a smart phone this year using the Scholastic Secure Payment Line ~ details will be on display at the Book Fair.)

Also to be congratulated for his winning entry in the ‘How many book loans has our school library given in 10 years?‘ competition, is Year 2’s Charlie Tomilinson.  His guess of 57,278 was only 125 away from the correct number of 57,403.  Well done Charlie!
